We have another new line available at Mantorville Square. We have rearranged the rear part of the Square to accommodate the large inventory of costumes we have for rent. There are Halloween costumes, Western costumes, Renaissance costumes, animal costumes, gypsies, clowns, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Little Red Riding Hood, Cleopatra, Frankenstein’s monster, and the list goes on and on. We have more costumes than you can imagine. If you are thinking about Halloween, New Year’s, a themed costume party, a parade, a play, or any other fun event where you need a costume, come to Mantorville and see us.

Sunday, February 11.
Wow, wasn’t today like a breath of spring after the incredibly cold weather the past couple of weeks. I’m sure many of you are looking forward to spring. Here at Mantorville Square, we’re getting ready for spring with our newly arrived merchandise. We have added several new lines of merchandise, especially in our garden and outdoor décor area, as well as expanding some of our current lines. We’ll soon be adding Red and White Kitchen textiles, for those of you who enjoy the retro look.
While we are waiting for spring, there are several things to look forward to, including Valentine’s day this Wednesday. Perhaps you are thinking of celebrating this week or next weekend with a Valentine’s lunch or dinner at the Hubbell House. If so, be sure to allow time to stop in at Mantorville Square for that special Valentine’s gift. Flowers are nice, but if your sweetie is the type who prefers longer-lasting gifts, we have a nice selection of candles, baskets, textiles, and home and garden décor. And of course for the antiques and collectibles lover, we have over 25 vendors providing quality merchandise.
There are two upcoming events you won’t want to miss. On Friday, February 16, there will be a chili and soup supper from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church to raise funds for the new Mantorville Regional Welcome Center. And mark your calendars now for the St.Patrick’s Mulligan stew supper at the Hubbell House on Thursday, March 15. A live auction will follow the supper with the proceeds going to the Mantorville Restoration Association.
See you in Mantorville!
